It's getting to be that time of year where hats might be a bit much but ear warmers are perfect to keep your ears toasty! This Tunisian Crochet pattern is perfect for spring, late summer or just to look adorable with!! Without further delay, here is the pattern:
5.5 Tunisian Crochet Hook
Pony Tail holder/elastic
tdtks: Twisted Double Tunisian Knit Stitch
Sc: single crochet
Tss: Tunisian simple stitch
tdtks: Yarn over, pull front loop of stitch from previous row to the right, insert hook into the center of the stitch from previous row. Yarn over, pull through. Yarn over, pull through first two loops on your hook. Repeat to the end of the row, return pass.
Row 1: Ch. 12, tss in each ch. Across. Return pass. 12 tss
Row 2: Ch. 1, tdtks across. Return pass. 12 dtks.
Row 3-23: Repeat Row 2.
Row 24: Ch. 1 (counts as first stitch), sc under vertical bar of each stitch across. 12 sc
Row 25: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 8. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 10 sc
Row 26: Ch. 1, turn, sc2tog in first two stitches, sc in next 6. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 8 sc
Row 27: Ch. 1, turn, sc2tog in first two stitches, sc in next 4. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 6 sc
Row 28: Attach your ponytail holder during this row. Ch. 1, sc around the ponytail holder across. 6 sc into pony tail holder. Finish off, weave in end.
Reattach yarn to the first row.
Row 1: ch. 1, sc across. 12 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 8. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 10 sc
Row 3: Ch. 1, turn, sc2tog in first two stitches, sc in next 6. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 8 sc
Row 4: Ch. 1, turn, sc2tog in first two stitches, sc in next 4. Sc2tog in last two stitches. 6 sc
Row 5: Attach to your pony tail holder during this row, being careful not to twist your headband. Ch. 1, sc around the ponytail holder across. 6 sc into pony tail holder. Finish off, weave in end.
